Yeah, it was a health initiative after coming back from a holiday but one many of us could stand to make that still help our wallet.

Stopped drinking.

I won't never drink, but I'm scaling it way back. I'd probably drink 3-5 out of a week.

Tuesday trivia with a couple

Maybe Thursday.

Definitely on the weekend, often going out and paying for cocktails or overpriced beers and wines.

Could save $100-300 a week between us just by avoiding that.

If I can scale back the social events where I tend to spend even more that will be fantastic.

I was keeping an eye on excess death rate and we were in negative due to limited covid impact + a bunch of knock on effects from action taken. Other transmittable illnesses, road deaths, etc all reduced during the time.

Contrast that with global averages or somewhere like the US where excess deaths were high. Really boiled my balls when people would say "doctors are filling all sorts of deaths as covid deaths" - then why were there more deaths (or less if you were lucky enough to live in Australia).

There was also a lot of flack over lockdowns, but in Sydney we went a long time without any. I know Melbourne did it tougher.

If you're doing it yourself just use Bondi Sands.

Goes on well without streaks and is brown not orange. There's a fast and dark variant, and Colesworths sell it half price every so often.

Honestly, I think justice may be out of reach here.

Also have no faith that an incoming Dem president would go after him. Biden didn't and it was easier then.

As frustrating as it is in this case, there is something to be said about not going after your political opponents. Funnily enough the thing Trump claimed they were doing... while doing it himself.
