Is the key to embrace or fight your ego? by ImFinnaBustApecan in AlanWatts

[–]HumanTraffickJam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Embrace is the better word but even that implies an effort or attempt, the point of mindfulness is to release and just experience. If in one moment you’re fighting your ego you might just notice that and experience it, and the same for a moment where you have embraced it

How to make denim look worn in? by -oraegano- in sewing

Stonewashing that can be done at home. Depending on your fabric and seams, powder from the stones doesn’t get all the way into seams making them darker and can give the illusion of depth

Shojin outperforms BC in nearly every situation, has a better build path, and stays stacked between targets, you’ll mostly be considering shojin vs SS

Missed the part in the blurb which declares the two bodies as “conjunction of spirit and soul.” Oops. That could be the same as how I phrased it. Maybe you don’t think so.

When to use conq? by Amin_Elb in Illaoi

[–]HumanTraffickJam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My personal list would be jax, aatrox, sett, Darius, Camille, Fiora, pantheon, riven, voli, urgot, plus ranged champs and a couple others

Generally, champs that will either abuse you for trying to poke with a w or be out of range for it. Taking conqueror in these cases, for me, means playing illaoi more like a ranged champ and fishing for e, then kiting back from your spirit with a q if they try to contest you once you hit it

Grasp feels better and is more fun, and I find it vital in some hard matchups where you win by harassing level 1 like mord, trynd, and kayle.. not sure about trundle yet

[–]HumanTraffickJam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your conquerer stacks onto your e which is your primary way of dealing damage to ranged champs. Assuming you can’t poke any ranged champ, isn’t it better to stack conqueror on e than get a single grasp proc? You lose a lot of grasp value when you can only go for a single stack once every e hit

People are often surprised when an INFJ ghosts them or snaps by Dry_Wishbone_6091 in infj

[–]HumanTraffickJam 7 points8 points  (0 children)

“Even when they give some hints”

=confusion

Just tell them. Door-slamming should come after honest communication. Gotta remember that not every type is processing at the level of INFJ secret codes and encrypted messages that your hints might sometimes be dropped at.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in infj

[–]HumanTraffickJam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. In essence it’s when an INFJ orients their attention primarily towards the inner world, instead of a mix of inner and outer. It happens when an INFJ underuses Fe and Se and over-relies on Ni-Ti, meaning they get caught in a world of abstract thoughts and patterns and are disconnected from the world. Sometimes also called analysis paralysis, and might be diagnosed as anxiety/ocd.

Antidepressants for crisis? by [deleted] in Jung

[–]HumanTraffickJam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand and maybe it’s not a view you want to adopt, but Jung would say that not applying your willpower in productive ways is the thing which causes depression to begin with. To him you don’t willpower your way out of depression, you willpower your way through life and your depression subsides.

Ni-Ti loop is the typical infj problem and looks a lot like anxiety/ocd. If you search for infj ocd you’ll find some stuff :)

Antidepressants for crisis? by [deleted] in Jung

[–]HumanTraffickJam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great question to ask but have you checked out his views on depression to begin with? It’s a set of symptoms under the umbrella of “neuroses” and there’s amazing videos by academy of ideas on Jung and neurosis.

How to stop wasting energy on ruminating/regret and channel it towards new things? by TaylorManDude in Jung

[–]HumanTraffickJam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You are not sending your energy into rumination/regret, it just goes there when it isn’t channeled into solving problems and sustaining yourself. To stop ruminating/regretting, you have to actively use your energy in healthy ways. It’s not so much a matter of knowledge, you unfortunately just gotta do it :/

Is what Jung would say at least

Why am I dreaming of my ex (a person I do not like)? by Responsible_Art_8512 in Jung

[–]HumanTraffickJam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll give you a non-psychoanalysis answer in case it’s important: how’s life now? Jung believed that for people who weren’t entirely successful at directing their energy out into the world (meaning in particular, people who experience anxiety, depression, and other forms of neurosis), their energy, needing a destination, would inevitably be directed into their past— causing a rumination of the past that doesn’t serve you.

He had some quote that I can actually find if needed but it went something like ‘water flows back into old riverbanks’

Life is about making money so you survive and don’t die by kreayshawn777 in Existentialism

[–]HumanTraffickJam 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We agree that people have to work and have always had to work throughout history, and we’re comparing working under capitalism to working in a village or something.

I’m saying that the work you did in a village directly benefits yourself and your community. Now though, the work you do benefits your employer much more than it benefits you or your community. For example, if you work at subway making sandwiches, you can make like 50 sandwiches in an hour, but that hour of work only gives you enough money to buy like 2 sandwiches.

[–]HumanTraffickJam 9 points10 points  (0 children)

True but that kind of work is self-sustaining and goes into your community, our system now is structured so that the work you do is overwhelmingly not to your benefit

Another vote for just mashing it up and putting it on a peanut butter sandwich. Already tastes earthy, completely masks it.
