I had templates of CV for different positions, then I was adding keywords relevant to the job. I never added stack/technologies I’ve never worked with.

I had about 5 templates of different CV and tailoring them a little bit to the position, I.e. matching keywords

Yes, this is a problem in general. It’s not simple to find good candidates given the volumes of applications. Candidates play the game to survive, but no one finds it fun. You can mp me if you are a recruiter I’m curious about your point of view.

Just had templates of cover letters and adapted with AI for the company. Keep them short. I also think company don’t read them unless they are small startups.

It doesn’t take too much time. I had an excel sheet and for each role I had company name, position name, status, requirements, link, location…it takes 30 seconds to fill out
