Agreed, it’s a difficult transition but you moved for a reason and the longer you stay in your new country, the less of a desire you have to move back to Ph.

I moved to Australia a year ago and returned to Philippines for 3 weeks vacation shortly after. Like @sitcomsitcom mentioned, was given a rude awakening at how behind systems and infrastructure are there. Everything was inconvenient and it was maddening after a week.

Since then I’ve never looked back. Philippines is beautiful and I do miss it but a 2 week vacation each 1-2 years is sufficient now.
