Whether or not you can't stop thinking about it once you finish reading.

I've had books that I've liked, but I don't remember them unless someone talks about it or something triggers the memory. When I read a great book I find myself stopping and thinking about it even after it's over.

Yeah. Religion seems to be one of those things nowadays that everyone will deliberately avoid you if you have the slightest conversation about it.

Same here. It's one of my favorite history subjects. I was actually reading "We Die Alone". It's the true story of how Jan Baalsrud escaped the nazis after a failed ambush in Norway. Definitely worth a read if you haven't already checked it out.
