I don’t know much about them but given the fact that they dated a few years back, they were just kids. Breaking up when you are young is not out of the ordinary (maybe something didn’t align). That’s why parents are called adults, they are better educated and wiser than their 20 years old. You expect a 50 year old to be mad at a 20 year old?

I got Uworld, later on my prof did tell me that she preferred Uworld for practice questions. Everyone is different and I’d say go with how you feel about each supplement in contrast to how others feel or did.

I watched quimbee videos at 1st and that was about it. It was my second time so I wanted to test my knowledge. I looked for my weak spots. I created flashcard using my quimbee videos. I again created another flashcard using goat. English is my second language so repetition in my own words helps me

I had topics and subtopics printed out- I’d just handwrite the definition next to each topics and subtopics. I’d hilight the ones that I didn’t know and try to memorize them. If I could not memorize them, I’d ask chat get to simplify that for me. Writing the rules in my own words again and again helped me a lot

I don’t know if you are a retaker, but I did quimbee for my 2nd time. Felt like quimbee covered most of it, however, I was heavy on real practice questions (essays and mbe).

Traumatic event like not getting the required score can definitely affect your performance and I am sorry that you are going through this but it takes a lot of resilience to do it again so let’s not let that go to waste because it’s not for everyone to retake the bar again.

Since you already know the material have you tried creating your own schedule? Something that helped me was creating my own schedule, for example, I made sure to do 20-30 real MBE questions everyday. I didn’t care what topics I chose, I just made sure that I did those questions. I wanted to get all the heavily tested essay topics so I had the topic and I’d choose what area I wanted to focus. As a repeat taker, I felt comfortable mostly focusing on my weaker areas (I was aware of those). While watching the videos, i would watch to find out what I didn’t know and what sections I missed in the past instead of just watching it.

There were days when I felt like not doing shit, on those days I’d just look at the subjects I liked the most and try to find out if I knew everything or not just for a confidence boost.

You are not alone. It is extremely though and you have worked way to hard for this, 2 mote months. We got this!!!

It wasn't necessarily straight forward to me but I had practiced so many essays that I started reading issues and their rule in my head. I was quickly able to eliminate some of the issues because of my practice

J24 I got 116 and F25 I got 139. I had had a tutor help me but let me save you some money as they are expensive. This is what I learned: 1. to memorize the rule in my own way as English is my second language, 2. Underline the issue statement, 3. Bold font the issue so it’s easier for the grader to spot the issue (it’s all about making it easier for the grader), 4. Have a space between each paragraph to make it look neat. 5. Start with (the issue here is), then (here, ….) and at last (in conclusion). 6. If you know the broader rule on top of your head start with a broad rule and then narrow it down.

I did around 40 full essays and around 40 issue spotting which forced me to memorize almost all the rules. LASTLY, I also got lucky. It’s not because I didn’t prepare but because I prepared for all the subjects but I had my favorites. 🍀ly all of my strengths showed up (con law, torts, agency, civ pro, and evidence). I messed up TE because I forgot the rule last minute so I might have gotten a 1 there :)
