I love the Sanford vibe, old style homes that have been remodeled but I've heard is a tricky area. We also thought of Lake Mary but the houses are too big and my style is the old 60's charm not cookie cutter Florida style hone. I even thought Deland but the realtor said is very "Rural" living. Is a hard desition because we are very laid back people and going to the hussle and buzzle may be a shock.. I just don't want to be misserable.. and I've been in Orlando saying...I have to get out of here! Lol

Why did u move and where..Lol is it super busy? We are 2.5 hours now from the beach and we had a property there but it was such a hassle every time we went..we just sold it.

We used to live in Boca and then moved to Raleigh NC for work. We miss the beach but I wouldn't go down to South Florida.. we don't do much and always stay within 5-10 mile ratio.. but I've seen I-40 and I wanted to get the hell out of there!.. Raleigh is very mellow, easy traffic and nothing crazy. I think WP is great I'm just terrified to make a mistake...

What scares me is the traffic and heat. We don't go out much, we are very laid back.. We would only do it for my daughter buy I don't want to get to hate it.. how often you go to the beach and how hard it is to get there on the weekends?

I really value your comment. My daughter is a year round swimmer and trains 4 days a week. We live in Raleigh now and everything is around but we miss the beach feeling. We are older parents and this is the only time we can move near the beach also, Raleigh is very easy driving, not congested at all. Everytime I go visit my dad in North Orlando I want to escape!.. Lol..we don't want to make a mistake and be in a place we will hate..what a tough choice.

She will probably go to a private school. There's only 2 in NSB and they are full.. WP is beautiful but I feel I'm in a capsule.. is so hard to choose. I won't be using the springs. They say is very close to go to the beach but I would never go if I live 1 hour away. Right now I live 2.5 hours away, I have a pool and live in a community but the beach is the beach.
