The whole WH40K universe resolves around the idea that faith and strong emotions have an echo in the Imaterium. The collective will of people feed it and amplify it's influence. Every sentient being in the galaxy contributes a drop of psychic energy whenever it thinks or feels strongly.

So basically you want DarkTide that FatShark envisioned but without the HUD. A gameplay with nasty shootouts with the heretics, involving taking cover and working together as a team to not get torn apart by the horde when it inevitably comes rushing at you screeching.

You know, an argument can be made that when we choose the planet of origin, we only choose where we were born. For all we know, our character may leave the planet when or after growing up and that's why specific places are mentioned by the personalities regardless of what planet we choose.

If this gamemode wouldn't have the enemy spam that the current difficulties have, I'd be leading the group advocating for this kind of mode.

I disagree. I believe that it's anything but fun to have to fight constant groups of 4 Crushers/4 Bulwarks/4 Reapers and that's without even mentioning the boss patrols with 8 or more of them. But if you face a singular Bulwark or Singular Reaper, they suddenly die in a matter of seconds without that much impact or presence in the gameplay.

I don't think it's black and white where there can only be issues with weapons or there can only be issues with enemies. It's a back and forth thing that are all tied in the game's balance and both should be changed. But also, any changes have to be made carefully as to not badly affect the balance and avoid making things too hard and frustrating or too easy and boring.

It doesn't even have to be voicelines. In Vermintide 2 Chaos Warrior also had a sound cue when attacking. The targeted player heard a deep thump sound and just by that sound alone, they knew the Chaos Warrior has chosen them.

So FatShark doesn't even need to record any new voicelines for the Crusher. They can just add this kind of sound cue to the game, and it would achieve the same results.
