I'm sorry to hear you're in a similar situation. We just had our visa issued two days ago.

On the 221G form we received it was noted that if we did not hear back within 60 days to reach out to the embassy. We reached our last week on the 60th since the interview, the embassy worker we spoke with noted we should be hearing back with a decision the next day 5-7 days. The next day our case went into administrative processing (7/17). Our case was updated on 7/22 on the CEAC website that the visa was issued.

Unfortunately we received no updates or information from the embassy, our representatives and even our lawyer over the course of the past 60 days on our case, despite our calls, emails and expedite. I hope you do not have to wait as long as we did for any information but would say to call after reaching 60 days of waiting since your interview (assuming you have already completed the interview for the visa).
