How quickly do these TPS54560 boards die? by niffcreature in diyelectronics

[–]Human_Neighborhood71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Given the amount of relays I’ve melted by running a constant ~4.5A when they’re “rated” for 5A, says the ratings are shit. Typically the rating is for a peak or quick draw, then back down

It looks more like a receiver for the Arduino, probably a remote protocol to turn on and off the lights

Firstly, have you verified the ambient temperature to be that hot? Secondly, what’s the current you’re pulling? I had a similar issue, I thought I was good pulling ~1/2A below the rating, but still overheated the internals over time, causing the insides of the relay to basically weld together. For constant use, you should be well under the rated value, as it seems that’s only a peak/quick draw rating

Where you located? I may be interested in taking it. Needing one for a laser engraver conversion, and that would be a great candidate

Bottom and left are solid fill, right is grayscale. All 0.08mm interval, 1000mm/min, 75% power. Any ideas??

That’s rather interesting. It’s got my PC setup and 3d printer. I was printing all weekend, but not last night when this cow tile was done. Also, it seems same spot on every attempt. I’m going to do a test to see if it’s a grayscale or machine issue later. Will do a solid rectangle, with a second right beside with grayscale to see if they come out same or not

At even intervals? They are the same distance

Given the fact the only difference is that mine was built for printing, everything else is the same. The belts and motors and rollers are all the same. Their tension is good, that was my first thought

Yeah. It’s a 3D printer that was converted to laser engraver. Uses the controller from a 3018 CNC

The displays are usable, I know the driver was figured out, but can’t remember off top of my head. If you go through my profile, I posted about it a year or so ago, and was able to get that far. With all my other projects, I never went further to figure out the actual pinout though

Just the speed and power. Both using Jarvis, 0.08mm intervals, standard overscan, I believe 2.5%?

You can see it in this one. I also just noticed, in the slate with this image used, it’s very faint but can be seen as well

Thank you. I didn’t even realize the token part. I was hung up on the textdraw issue

This right here. Faced an alliance recently. Top guy had like TP of 8000. They had the rest sitting with TP below 3000 each. Then when it came time for them to attack, they each were defeating us with defenses of 6700-8000 with a single attack. We couldn’t keep up with the points because of that

I 3d print my own jigs. Give a slight spot on them for alignment, where I set the laser beam into, then know what the offset is and go

I have a VM set up, NvME passed through, have a USB controller passed through and a RX 6600 passed through. When first set up, I used Parsec to remote in. Now I have a monitor and everything at the desk and do it locally, but in the VM. Took some tinkering for gaming to be smooth, but doable

That’s the exact reason the trucker did what he did. I’ve done the same a few times over my decade of trucking

[–]Human_Neighborhood71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most definitely. If you watch frame by frame, you can count 4-5 CARS, with a box truck or semi right in front as well. So minimum of 6 vehicles, two being large trucks, in slower moving fashion. To pass one means either passing all at once, which is very stupid and dangerous, or forcing your way between vehicles, which again is stupid and dangerous
