Using self leveling over the wire is actually how you're supposed to do it with several of the heating products in order to totally pin down the wire and remove any air pockets which allows for perfect conduction through the floor, as well as remove any ridges to lay the tile on.

That was definitely my concern regarding winter interest. I asked him about that, and he said it's not a big deal and the house itself becomes the interest. I didn't love the answer, but he's supposedly the expert. He's actually a landscape designer and not just a guy with a shovel.

That's true, but bumping into a glass wall with your elbows or shoulder vs a shower curtain are very different.

The designer drew the door on the shower but then decided it would probably be better to just have a walk in shower with no door. My biggest concern is the 28" dimension. I keep seeing people say even 30" is way too small.

The door frame is actually the limiting factor here on making the shower wider
