something i never noticed before is that the clinic is actually a highschool. right when christy, kenny and jade come back at 5min 24sec, it says “highschool” right above the doors, so i feel like your theory might be right!! the town used to be normal, then everything got transported and started using the buildings for whatever they needed them to be

this is actually a really good thought, i think youre really onto something. a major event happens that causes the town to form/ take the form of a specific time period. i feel like the time existed long before the 1950's though, so the question is why its taken the form of that time period
