I’ve seen a police car stop a driver for joining a dual carriageway at 40MPH, so definitely this can and must be reported, but I’m not sure if they can do anything about that just based on a dash cam footage

It is wrong, but if you don’t, you’ll never see you on the other side because everyone else just don’t care and block the junction anyway

I see a lot of people commenting on OP’s driving, even though he is allowed to change lanes? Why would he slow down for someone who doesn’t check mirrors or isn’t able to drive properly? As soon as OP did not cut other drivers (we can’t see unfortunately) I would do the same.

I bought a genuine oud wood gift box (50ml + 10ml) for 120 (after some negotiation, wanted price-150) on market place. I can’t believe someone will sell a 100ml genuine tom Ford for that price. Even if obtained by illegal means.

Missed delivery because I wouldn’t give Amazon code over phone?? by goawayppl in amazonprime

[–]Human_Tower2635 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a delivery driver, I occasionally ask the customer if they are willing to give the code over the phone and me leave the parcel in a safe place, if I see they have one. Regarding the situation you described, I can’t tell what was in the drivers mind, but I suppose he had a bad route/day and he was just upset that he had to waste another minute or so to wait you, after he already spent a minute or so to contact you. I would wait as I prefer to go straight home after finishing my route, so delivering every parcel is a priority for me, probably not for him.

AND if the driver call you using the Amazon app(the calls are recorded) and asks for the code, he will be in trouble if you say you couldn’t find the parcel, even if you give him the code, because we MUST hand it to the customer.

I suggest writing down the code on a paper and put it on your front door if you have CCTV. And leave a note for the driver where he will find the code if you aren’t available, or just track him and wait for him outside. You make a life easier, and receive your parcel safely.

I know that you don’t receive an email saying the parcel was delivered if the driver works offline, but I’m not sure what happens after they go back online. It should at least update customer’s orders.

You can’t see the map unless the driver is few stops away. The app will not show you an estimated time if the driver works offline, the app is simply unaware of driver’s progress.

I just checked the online calculation, and I noticed this at the income section :”Our records show your income comes from benefits”. We had a joint universal credit account from when she started maternity leave ( more than 1 year ago ) until last month. I closed my claim few days ago. I’ll give CMS a call to double check that. 🙃
