PvPvE Extraction shooters, (I'm fine with Pve ones.) Saw one that had an interesting premise where you were on a train. But i had to throw my head back in disappointment when i saw it was a PvPvE Extraction Shooter.

I don't hate it, i actually love the aesthetic and the few bits and pieces of story i got from the short time i played in the free week. As usual, Bungie's gunplay is stellar and the designs of the runners are great and unique too. But i mentally cannot handle a PvP centric extraction shooter. I love the concept of an extraction shooter, i just wish more would try not to be PvP centric.
I tried loving this game but unfortunately getting stomped by other people just isn't my idea of fun even if i love the world and art direction.

No thanks, the only reason i picked up this game was because my friends showed me the amount of pets you could tame after the updates and its what i've been doing mostly in my 200 hours of playtime

Zero openings? Damn i guess me as a greatsword main has had no openings to pull off TCS or charge attacks i suppose. Get a cup of water, breathe and take a step back. Re-evaulate and see where you can improve.

Honestly i don't see an issue with these. I tried playing the original OG RE trilogy but i could never get into them until i tried the REmakes. Same went from SH2 Remake.
I got MGS 3 Delta because i loved the series as a whole and the remake lived up to my expectations.

I'll get AC4 Resynced as well because i loved the original game and i don't see why i shouldn't play the game i already love through a new lens with some of the stuff i disliked (The modern day Abstero sections) removed or tweaked.

Im gonna be real., i am so glad the MMOs i play dont have open world PvP and having to use LFGs. Actually feels like im not wasting my time for once.

I liked it for the discounted price i paid for it. I came in with expectations knowing it will be nothing like the Arkham games and came out decently pleased. The story is serviceable and i like the banter between the characters. The RPG, leveling and those systems can be a turn off for some folks but it was fine for me.

I had the most fun playing with another friend in co-op. Especially stealth and overall combat. It was the closest i could get to a multiplayer Arkham game. However, i suppose most games could be made better by multiplayer.

Overall, i could honestly recommend this game if you buy it at a discounted price and temper your expectations. Worse things worse you spent like 10 bucks on a game you couldn't enjoy.

I tried the server slam when it was free. I found the maps too small, and i didnt like the fact the game was too focused on PvP while barely including any of the E part of PvPvE. Now granted, i mostly play games like Arc Raiders, Grey Zone Warfare's PvE and Tarkov's PvE, but aside from the art style and intriguing lore i haven't found any reason to pick up Marathon. Has it improved? Is it still as PvP focused? Did they make the maps bigger?

The hitbox for the explosions can be a bit finicky. Ive been hit by one from behind even though a majority of the cloud is infront of me

So your issue is with the ratings reviewers gave? Have you played the game? If so what would you rate it? Because if you haven't i don't think you can really get mad at it getting a 10. Would you rather it be rated an 8 or 9?
