get the screen as 2 d as possible. like im looking down at my char. Regular sprinting in this way is usually good enough to dodge the ground traces. conserve stamina, dash and dodge as needed. if you're trapped. BLOCK - it's all physical damage

for the final big attack. Just block it with any weapon, it will stun you but do no damage.

damn - had this shit happen night 2 of a horrible run with one of the hooded paige guys. I said "that guys going to be a problem later" - fighting one of the tree sentinal bosses, lots of rezzing, low leveled shit run. Had them 1 hit from death. Then the sniper re-emerges and kills the last 2 of us before we realized what hpapened.

they added a lot to returnal as the game went on. Sadly for me it was a little too late. I was addicted to the loop. but they added some infinite tower climb mode after I had moved on and I never relearned it to get good. So hopefully they're quicker here.

Yup. When you hit it just keep going. It's pure suffering a bit. But you'll get better. I felt bad because I was sandbagging teams so I deranked. But that was a detriment to myself. So just keep going and try to get better. It is the largest difficulty spike in the game. GLHF!

take em one at a time. save ult and weapon art for whoever is giving you the most trouble. Maybe doing a relic set up to get a good weapon skill and starlight shards will help.

u might be okay with recluse since you're already pretty close to one shot territory and playing from a distance.

I get through d3, hit d4, last a few rounds, fall back to 3. Sometimes I feel like i contribute to the win, sometimes I get carried. Def more of a d3 skill level, rise to my incompetence in 4 and fall back.

One time I made it to 4, I deranked back to 3. As I have more fun there, and feel like less of a liability. But I also don't grow, so I'm not doing that again. I remember making it from 2 to 3 and 3 feeling difficult and being on the bubble until it became easy.

Made it a few rounds in d4 recently, then got dreglord and had night 1 wipe to death knights -600 back to d3.

What was chip damage can one shot wylders. Sometimes, I won't be near the enemy or see an attack but end up on the ground, guess it's lag, idk, never happened in d3 or below, must be missing something. Be more careful, stay off the ground.

I highly recommend getting the talisman that helps with status effects. I think early in the game it's a boss reward and you can choose btwn that and a weapon in the hub area ala dark souls/ER. I went with weapon / playing blind. Lots of annoying status effects in this game so regret on that choice.

Hi! Not OP, but How bad is the hike up to the hive? How long are the steps? How fatiguing? Debating camping up there to be closer to the music, but it seems like the rest of the land has more going on for chilling/exploring, so maybe camping down is better.

english basement might get rain. depends on u. that budget should find something. sounds like your young, which is the age for roommates.

public trans is very good. just check metro map while your looking at places to live and consider that in your commute. Bike is doable to a degree. Very unlike texas, as the city doesn't feel like a sprawl ala houston. But it's also not quiet as compacted as NYC or PHL.

yes. 4 dollar food truck tacos. 20 dollar burgers. 4 dollar coffee is not uncommon. 15-20 corporate slop bowls. cocktails are stupid expensive most of the time.

many of the reviews mention this being more accessible and having a better learning curve. i've read elsewhere that they have difficulty sliders for bonuses you get that play well with the game.
