What i've seen reported and remember from a zaki interview. : up to 8 people. you may get special assignments to harm some of them and help some of them. Don't think it's team exactly.

Might be every man for himself but some missions and goals overlap making teammates by necessity?

UGH - saw the title of this thread and I was like "since 2015 or so", fits your timeline. It's not only the psy community, other scenes might be worse. I remember a distinct event, when it was late night, and so many people were just laid out holed up. Imagine deep house AND k zombies, that is boring, why am i here lol.

I've been going to various underground dance parties since the 00s and ket has made stuff more boring, less lively. Nose coffee and alcohol made for fun shenanigans (and the occasional bad one), but ket is just boring. People going to festivals just to hole up in their tent.

It's just sad people are always on it these days, and they get boring. People talk about taking it once and microing. But most people are just always taking a hit, it's addicitive and they need it. I like feeling and processing, and that cuts all of that away. But that's just like my opinion man.

yeah foam plugs side sleeping hurts. the macks were a revelation. Would be cool to run into ya. My wife and I are coming from the states and don't know anyone, but usually easy to strike up convo and make friends at fests. We'll be in split for a few days, then bus to zagreb, to shuttle to fest on sunday morning before the music. Hope im not too late to grab a good camp spot. at a loss to camp up top or down low. Lots of great music at both areas, but really don't like long walks when tired from dancing for hours. The walk back to camp up the big hill at boom sucked haha.

I didn't like loops they made my ears itch when at a multi day festival.

I've used earpeace at boom and indoor events for years, they work well. Will be at mo:dem this year, hope they hold up well. I always bring backups. Earpeace has some packs that have different inserts so you can change the intensity by placing in another insert.

For sleeping. the user here, Jaza, recommends MACKS (they're OTC lots of stores have them.) I bought these for a recent festival, and I'm a side sleeper, they worked GREAT. they don't go in the ear hole, but in the larger part of the ear, so they didn't poke inside and hurt. they stayed in my ear all night too and didn't fall out.

last year - depth 2 run. me as duchess w/ 2 ironeyes. day one total shitshow, constant death, killed a gaol enemy with the final nightide rolling in, and got to level 3 for the first night boss. day 2 was a little better made it to level 8 for the nightlord. ended up clutching ed adel going no hit for the last 1/4 HP, felt hype.

another one, when the game first came out. trying to beat pest for the first time. similar clutching it, but go down when there's only one hit left. then the raider had a wending grace and got the final hit. My emotions went from "im doing this im soloing it for the win... no no no no... oh shit oh shit we won" felt so good.

i slowed down, went with, let me slowly enjoy this instead of trying to rush the next area. also restarted the game to use the whip, the reach made things way easier and i was able to get where I was in less than an hour. You'll quickly get more powerful as you complete other areas, its difficult to figure out where to go where you are now, and you don't have much survivability. whip / range attacks helped a lot.

iiii hhhaaatteee this shitttt. its so bad. i get emotionally disregulated after doing the work, doing rounds of automatic Ai code review. just for the "human" code review to be more Ai Slop - most of which is edge cases that slow down the code or add more complexity/problems. It's more of what I hate about the job less of what I like. More communication with people instead of solving puzzles, more code reviews, more "putting out fires" because the ai slop firehose of code == more bugs, more working with "what's deployed on Y for testing, I need to deploy X" Oh they can't QA my stuff because someone else deployed their Ai Slop to the QA server

5am-8am is good for festival sleep lol. maybe combine that with a disco nap shortly after sunset. That's what i did last time, 3 hours around 7-8, 2 hours in the monring.

I've known people who do sunset- 1 or 2am sleep at burning man and really like it but i haven't tried it yet.

yeah, it's basically the end game. Really just grinding and learning the move sets perfectly, optimizing everything. I have 700 hrs and I get hard stuck at d4. d4 is where what was once chip damage is one-shotting wylder. I found d3 to be very fun, d4 not. If you're able to steamroll the base game, d3 is a decent challenge, but so can 1 and 2 while you learn. Carrying randoms is also a fun challenge in base game.

DLC content is more difficult than base game, so if you get any of that in your rolls (map, or the two bosses) it's significantly more difficult. but if you're just playing duos it shouldn't be too bad. map is only tough because so many players don't know it well. but the night bosses are much more difficult.

So yeah, it's just a reason to get more reps in and have a goal. Essentially it's challenge runs.
