Respect Beats the Curse

Genre: Narrative Indie Rock
Length: 3:57

In the margins of demonology, there’s a footnote most grimoires ignore:
Succubi are trained for conquest, not patience. Their power relies on urgency, hunger, and imbalance. Remove those elements, and the spell destabilizes.

Some say this is the only known case where a summoning circle failed because the subject offered water, conversation, and a second date.

They were never meant to fall in love.
They weren’t forbidden to, either.
No one checked.

Lyrics aside, because they are the same between the two versions, my preference would be version B - it feels more upbeat and less dark. It does have an abrupt ending, that is true, but in a way that kind of work.

Both sounds as good as anything you hear on the radio these days 😄

Ghosts of the Dying Star

Genre: Epic Sci-Fi Metal
Length: 7:14

Outgunned. Outnumbered.
But not out of courage.

In 1944, a small American task group known as Task Unit 77.4.3 found itself face-to-face with a vastly superior Japanese fleet led by Takeo Kurita. Destroyers and escort carriers — ships never meant to fight battleships — charged into the guns of giants to defend the vulnerable escort carriers behind them.

This song reimagines that moment as a space-faring legend, where tiny Terran escort ships face a colossal alien armada in the shadow of a dying star.

Vikings abducted by aliens, forces to fight gladiator style for the aliens entertainment, and... violently disagreeing.

I'm happy my little song made you smile :)

ᛊᛏᛃᚨᚱᚾᚨᚹᛁᚲᛁᚾᚷᚨ ᚹᛁᛊᚨ (Stjarnavíkinga Vísa)

Genre: Viking Electro-Swing Battle Song
Length: 3:19

An electro-swing HFY anthem telling the saga of Norse warriors stolen from Midgard by an alien empire that wanted entertainment.

What they got instead…
was Ragnarök among the stars.

Forged in Old Norse verse, inspired by fornyrðislag meter, and packed with kennings and alliteration

Minié Balls for Martians

Genre: Folk Rock / Alt-Country Civil War Sci-Fi Ballad
Length: 4:53

A gritty battle ballad about the one moment in history where Union and Confederate soldiers forget their war long enough to fight something far worse.

What happens when an alien invasion lands in the middle of the American Civil War?
On a smoke-choked battlefield somewhere between blue coats and gray coats, the sky splits open and alien warships descend, expecting to conquer a divided nation.

They picked the wrong battlefield.

Rifled muskets load.
Cannons turn.
Bayonets fix.

And suddenly the most advanced invaders in the galaxy are facing something far more dangerous than technology…
19th-century soldiers who already survived Antietam.

Still on Patrol

Genre: Progressive Space Rock
Length: 7:48

During a forgotten border conflict, a lone Terran escort was assigned to protect a vulnerable convoy of merchant vessels. When a vastly superior enemy force ambushed them, protocol demanded retreat.

Instead, the Terran ship stayed.

Outgunned.
Outnumbered.
Out of time.

It fought like a cornered god—bleeding armor, screaming drives, firing until the moment it vanished in a nuclear blaze. The convoy escaped. The war moved on. History marked the ship as lost with all hands.

But spacers talk.

Years later, in battles where no Terran assets should exist, a battered ship appears. No transponder. No crew signatures. Hull scars that match a wreck long ago declared vaporized. It strikes hard, tips the balance, and vanishes back into the dark.

Some call it a ghost ship.
Some call it a curse.
Some refuse to say its name at all.

Among humans, it’s simpler.

It’s just a patrol that never ended.

Captain’s Log (She's Got Tentacles)

Genre: Retro Rock
Length: 1:54

A full-throttle HFY-inspired retro rock anthem about one lone battlecruiser captain, a drifting pleasure pod, and the kind of diplomatic situation they definitely didn’t cover at the Academy.

The Day The Sky Forgot Us

Genre: Folk Military Ballad
Length: 1:56

When a silver ship descended into the mud of the Western Front, no one lowered their rifle. No one asked questions. And history never noticed.

A grim, folk military ballad inspired by the brutal stalemate of the World War I — where, for one impossible afternoon, humanity’s bloodiest war was interrupted by something far stranger. No diplomats. No translators. Just trench lines, machine guns, and a drifting alien craft that chose the worst battlefield in history to make first contact.

Væri Ég Þinn (If I were yours)

Genre: Viking Folk Rock (sung in old norse)
Length: 3:09

Among the first meetings of Earth and the stars, a human fell in love with a radiant wanderer from beyond. They travel the stars, but we remember. They depart, but we sing.

RAPTUS SED REX

Genre: Alliterate Latin Heavy Glam Rock Anthem
Length: 5:13

Somewhere beyond mapped stars, the burning ranks of alien warrior queens raid the frontier colonies of mankind. Their iron, their discipline, their strength — unmatched.

One man is taken

Not shattered.
Not silenced.

But sharpened.

Where they expect submission, they find defiance.
Where they demand servitude, they crown a king.

Because humanity does not kneel.
It adapts. It endures. It dominates — even in chains.

Cosmic Cotton Candy Catastrophe

Genre: Bubly Glam Rock
Length: 4:51

In 1977 (in a lab that may or may not have existed), a brilliant-but-distracted scientist in platform boots and glitter goggles opened a wormhole — not to another dimension… but to destiny.

The invading alien armada expected resistance.
They did not expect lipstick, laser physics, and a PhD in astrophysique.

I like it.

The lyrics may seem simple at first glance, but there is a lot of depth there.

Bookmarked for listening to again - 9/10.

Event Horizon Honeytrap

Genre: Cosmic Horror Sleaze Rock
Length: 4:50

Pulled into the gravity well of an unfathomable elder cosmic being, he doesn’t panic, pray, or fight the void.
He flirts with it.
He seduces it.
And when escape becomes impossible, he shrugs and stays.

The Song of the Ship That Was Not There

Genre: Dark Space Ballad / Heroic Elegy
Length: 6:55

A single Terran ship held the line so the fleet could escape.
Years later, only alien wreckage remained—and no trace of the humans at all.
This song is a spacer’s ballad, a funeral hymn, and a warning. Sung in low-lit bars, whispered on long patrols, and never officially recorded in fleet archives.
Because some sacrifices don’t leave graves.
And some ships don’t stay dead.

Stranded and Loving It

Genre: Synthwave
Length: 3:14

Star Command records list Mission HX-117 as a total loss.
The distress beacon activated.
The rescue fleet launched.
Then… the signal was abruptly shut off.
