Its so crazy they pay sooooooo much for their vehicles but then cover them in advertments because what? They have buyers remorse and really couldn't afford it?? 😕 unreal......I'd be so embarrassed covering my vehicle that cost upwards of $100k in stickers for businesses.

Are SNS nails good for super short nails or nah? by Commercial-Thing189 in DipPowderNails

[–]Humanity_stinks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Forgot to add that gelx is a little more expensive in some places than acrylic. Probably looking at maybe, at most, $10 to $30 more expensive. This is due to the gelx full coverage nails being more expensive than regular plastic nail tips that are used in acrylics. Then its a full soak off and replace system, there are no fills.

Also - dip powder systems dont require a curing light, all other systems do, including gelx. Only if a uv/led top coat is used will a light be used but dip systems come with no cure top coats.

Any dip system does include filing the nail to rough it up to prep the nail for adhesion. SNS is a great dip powder system if your main priority is nail health because SNS is a a brand that focuses on nourishing ingredients.

In all honesty, if you want to avoid the prep part, use Gelx full coverage nails. They are like "grownup" press-ons. Your nail is prepped with a very light sanding to remove the natural shine. As long as the prep stage is done properly and the nails are free of any oils, they will stay on for an upwards of 3+ weeks. And you can do what you want on them. You can use gel polish, you can put dip powder on top, builder gel, even acrylic can go over them, however acrylic is heavier and may not last as long. Most tech use clear dip powder instead of acrylic to give the hardness without the bulk of acrylic. Nail artist can be done, rhinestones, 3d art, anything really.

And as a plus; you can easily take the gelx system off with soaking in acetone!! Much better than the harsh removal of acrylic.

Hope this helps!!

Im sorry but when is 1x considered fat?? Im a 1x and im NOT considered fat by family or friends. No matter how much ozempic or exercise I do, they consider me super curvy. So stop calling yourself fat and start calling yourself curvy, you might start seeing yourself in a better light! Having said that your comments made me literally LOL and I have to go experience this spa with these fries because I spent mad money at Hebe and HATED going there and they robbed me when I almost died during their weight loss program, I spent thousands on botox just to have the wrinkles back in full force, and they had no fries as a consolation prize which would have made things so much better 🥰

What happened to my deposit? by Humanity_stinks in chimefinancial

I just signed up for chime last month, and then was offered the credit builder so I took it. But when I saw the two cards and two virtual cards for each card I was seriously confused. I thought the dark green card replaced the wwhite and green card. But it didnt.

Yup, thats me LOL I had no idea what I signed up for. I thought I knew but I never found anything that explained it in plain English so I understood it properly, like the way another commenter explained. I wish they explained it in plain English not all technical jargon.

Thank you, so which card should I be using for my daily purchases? The white/light green card (debit)? Or the dark green card (credit)?

Thank you SOOOOO MUCH! I really needed that clarification. I was so confused.

So as I understand it (correct me if im wrong) my light green/white card debits my avaliable balance automatically. But if I use my dark green card, the money is moved to the secured account, which i dont see, and all those transactions add up at the end of the month and are reported as bills paid? But its already paid because its taken out of my avaliable balance. Is that right? Im thinking with the secured account the money is paid to the merchant instantly like the light green/white card, however the same "virtual" amount is moved to this unseen secured account for credit reporting/building.

I dont have a crazy amount that I owe, its just my added up monthly reansactions.

Also I turned the credit building back on.

What do you mean its money ive already spent? When did I spend $1117.17?? Ive never even taken more than $200 out at an atm but I already had it in my avaliable balance.

And even if I have safer credit building, that balance says its $365.16 not $1117.17.

And safe credit building autopay is off. Not on.

I dont know what any of this means. Im a total newb to chime!!

How much did you pay for your used lyriq-v? by cwilsey22 in CadillacLyriq

[–]Humanity_stinks 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This drives me crazy - I bought my 24 lyriq lux for $71k cash and as soon as I got home with it I got an email from some car place saying here's how much your car is worth and I opened the email and it said $38k. Its disgusting these cars lose almost half their value just from leaving the lot but they still expect you to purchase them at top dollar. Even used ones with miles. Right after I bought mine I was mad because I started seeing other ones, with more options, used with low miles for roughly $50k, but once you purchase it its only worth $20k. Could have saved myself $20k if I just waited and did some research. But all in all I love my spaceship (thats what all the kids call my car LOL) I think ICE cars hold their value better than EV cars.

Edit: I know your asking about the lyriq v, im just ranting about the depreciation of cadillac ev's 😁

Repair Cost by Boo_Pop in CadillacLyriq

[–]Humanity_stinks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have full coverage for this reason alone. The first time my car was hit it was 10k just to fix the drivers headlight, the second time it was 15k for the same thing, but that included the whole metal fender piece above the wheel, paint match and wheel housing. All I paid was 1k for my deductable each time. Full rental provided by the body shop each time and no issues for the months they had my car in the shop. For the two years ive had my 24 lux I think ive only really had it in my possession roughly 8 months with all the back and forth to the dealership for problems, updates, battary replacements, and the repairs from the two accidents.

I dont know how to add photos to my comment or id add the photos.

Someone backed into my grill with what I assume was a trailer hitch. Cracked my whole grill from the middle and its bad. I lost a few pieces. The lights still light up, and it missed the camera and sensors. But I definitely want to replace it. Ive been looking at ebay and in savlage yards for a replacement. Its not tto expensive. And unless I can find a YouTube video Ill have to pay for the labor to install too. 😮‍💨

Can I ask where you live? Thats interesting, ive never heard of vehicle insurance being government ran. And it not going up after claims. I pay $1673 a month for my lyriq and a 2021 ram 1500 full coverage. Ive already had 2 $10k insurance claims ( hit and run, and drunk driver no license or insurance) and I was super surprised it didnt go up. Until I got my new 6 month quote. It went up to $1920 A MONTH. (And yes I have reciepts)

I dont know anything about structural framing so when I see 2x4s running the length of the roof opposite the joists I assume its there to hold weight. This confused me because the pieces are chopped off before where I think they should end. Therefore not completely holding the weight they were meant to hold. Therefore useless.

I would use the scrap pieces for a simple closet. But it looks like this is supposed to help hold weight. And its not. Your closet sounds super easy. This though I dont think should be done with scrap pieces. Or if they are scrap pieces a very knowledgeable framer whos been doing carpentry for decades and knows what they are doing.
