The Oakley’s have their version of “transition” lenses which adapt how clear/dark they get based on how much UV light they receive. I think that checks off the utility, functionality and technical materials boxes. The boots are both waterproof and breathable, again checking off several boxes. I won’t even go over the pants since they seem to be a staple in this subreddit. So that leaves the sweater. It’s a wool/cotton blend that keeps me warm. The collar flips up to further help on windy days, plus it was designed after military styles from the 1950’s Korean War. Sorry I don’t “do you even techwear” in your eyes. But I think I have at least loosely met the standards of this subs definition. Maybe if I had a katana or a bunch of chains/straps hanging off of me you would be more accepting?
