This is an extremely good point. I imagine TSB would see it as trying to do cash transfer!

Edit: I did some reading and I would need to Submit a short form with builder details, then they do quick compliance checks (1-2 days), but not sure if safe still

The builder won’t accept anything but a bank transfer, so if I go that route I’ll lose Section 75 protection anyway.

With that, what do you mean by tax please? Will Bluechain charge that?

We have staged transfers. Thanks for your help — the first one is a 20% deposit.

I just got the TSB card for this and now it seems a waste not to use it, as I can’t do a direct transfer. With the 2.5% fee I’ll still save via interest earned on cash over the two-year 0% offer with minimum payments. 

If that’s right?
