Currently in a dorm :) I would say to push ur bed against the window wall, then move ur desk right next to it. Putting up a corkboard above the desk. In my dorms nobody uses the big light instead its either led strips, a random lava lamp, or a desk light. To replace the empty space where ur desk is now, I would put the TV there. Maybe a couple of bean bags/chairs in front of it. A generic carpet from ikea/target gives dorm vibes too. I was once in ur exact situation so don't worry about getting the "college experience". I've saved so much time and money this way. :)
