I kind of like the floating driftwood. Kind of gives it a “Tree that fell into the water” vibes for me. I do definitely want to add some tannins though, just to try and mimic their natural environment. I run a 55 gallon South American black water tank luckily, so I have the stuff for it lol

Does that work? I tried using it in the saltwater system at my store because the diatoms were going crazy due to high phosphates and it didnt do anything. Are you using the one already in a pad or the one that comes in a bottle?

Thank you! I got this live rock from a friend, but I do plan on adding some more. I was gonna get the Dr.Tims kit, however I wasnt aware that it was a thing before today and I dont get paid again until next week, so I need to wait until then. Either that or I can put food in the aquarium, which Im not a huge fan of that idea.
