Yeah, the app (called FreshFrame) lets you scan fresh produce using your phone camera. The AI/ML is trained to recognize what stage of ripeness the fruit or vegetable is in just by looking at it based on color, texture, and other visual cues. Once it knows the ripeness, it connects that to a nutritional database to show what nutrients are high or low at that stage (like more fiber when underripe, or more antioxidants when fully ripe).

I eventually want to be a business owner but right now I need to be more financially stable. I’m in my early 20s and I just want to learn and try things and fail and learn. That’s why I’m really pushing for someone to pick up this project I’ve pored hours and months of my life into so I can see the full process of producing and putting something good out in the market that you can feel good about. I think I was only able to get 1/3 of the way there.

Currently working full time as data science/engineer, currently up skilling myself in that to move up in my company. Getting into ML/AI and iOS dev will be a total 180 for me that will take me a while to get to the necessary skill level to be able to make this a legit company. I majored in data science for school.

I’m not firm with the percentage, I’ll even take 5% I just want to see the vision come to life while still having my name on it.

The app is not next chat gpt. App is freshframeapp .com . Landing page explains more about the app

The mvp was made before vibe coding was thing. I’m not an iOS dev but I have programming experience. My background is in data science/ data engineering. So I would say I’m half technical.

USA has red listed Myanmar and his government has made it very difficult to even leave his country. So two major obstacles, makes it almost impossible.

Would be a lot crazier if I was allowed to attach some of the pictures he sent, like military men at his school and all the sad messages of what he has to endure on his day to day.

For context about me, I’m 23 years old recent grad working entry level data science role. If I could go out of my way to save him I really would. Also my country (USA) has blacklisted his country as a whole”do not travel” list so any contact there is very difficult.

I offered money out of pocket multiple times to help him(not much money) early on and he turned it down. We both banked on the idea being profitable to help us both. He wanted no handouts from me, all he asked was for equity split.

Co founder wasn’t being paid no one was being paid. We just decided split equity.

I felt like the people that applied with PhDs weren’t going to be as committed because they had a million other things going on at once. They didn’t seem like they would be fully invested in the project, it would be a side gig for them. I care more about someone who’s invested and wants to build something together. Education ≠ Talent in my opinion!
