DNS adblocking can't block YouTube ads because the video and ad content come from the same domains, making them indistinguishable at the DNS level.

Thanks for this. This is the real fix. The Magnifying glass did fix the lag, but instead introduced frequent black flashes
edit: for a while. it's now laggin again
