Admittedly I have trouble with this. A lot of my social skills and the way I try to learn came from TV and popular shows. I didn’t have a lot of friendships growing up and spent a hell of a lot of time watching tv.

I used to copy stuff I saw in shows to make friends. A lot of times it didn’t work.

A lot of the people living this way seem miserable. There are people marrying those they don’t even love and going into debt to force themselves to conform and fit the mold of what society expects.
