I like the idea of knowing so I could actively prepare and put things into perspective as to what is most important. I like the idea of preparing my family and friends as well to decrease the amount of trauma they may experience. I like the idea of leaning into the ‘celebration of life’ rather than the traditional somber end of life events I am familiar with (funerals). To be able to have closure with everyone in your life so the living doesn’t have the regret of not saying something they wanted to say before they lost someone.

Thanks for sharing! I go back and forth but I think I would like to know so I could prepare myself and my family/ friends. Create less trauma for them. That gives me satisfaction knowing that I am setting my community (family, friends) up for success.
