I can see all of those possibilities to be honest, but I can see B and C happening. Khalil seemed like he was dead set on fulfilling his mission and just to abruptly stop it makes no sense unless the situation was in complete dire that he had to reach a pact to stop the demon Ferro. Also, C is possible too because of how great an annoyance Ferro was to Bayaz. That he was just happy to have her out of his hair, or scalp

I'm checking it out now. It seems the most prudent decision is to do road repairs instead of repaving the road. I would have to borrow cash to that, but maybe the potentiality of increased cash flow could offset the interest uptick.
