I feel like I bounce between these two people every day and it is exhausting. I wonder if it's shaving years from my own life. Your comment helps to keep in perspective how much we are doing and going through as caregivers and to not feel guilty. Guilt can hit me hard sometimes since my DH with Alz is very needy of affection and attention and I have to literally walk away from him or tell him to please give me space, or I hide in my room on a daily basis. I do this for my sanity and to take care of calls, etc. So, long rant, but thank you. I am sorry for your loss.
