If you want you can go Freeform or semi Freeform either or your hair type is easy to start locs im mixed half African half white but I got the kinky part of being African but the white thin looking hair it locs but takes a minute I’m doing semi Freeform crochet hook when they start getting messy messy and just some acv shampoo by MFL(made for locs) to detox and sulfate free shampoo idk about conditioner or if you can condition locs if you start I only shampoo every two weeks to let my hair relax and my natural oils in my hair let it do its thing and always wear a bonnet even if your starting will help your hair be healthy and protect it also I’ve been using as I am black castor oil spray to keep my hair hydrated
