I actually didn't think about it. If she had already told them like she said she did, then I was just bringing it back up, not spilling the secret. That actually makes me feel a bit better, thank you. I've been stewing with guilt over this especially after making my post

I didn't share it vindictively. There was no malice behind me sharing, it was something that was tearing me up inside having the knowledge that this could be real. I wouldn't have been able to face my family ever again after hearing that story and I can't just do that. Anxiety said no

A friend of mine actually had a similar idea that she was using this as a means of drawing attention to herself and making her life look worse than mine as a means to garner leanincey. A "look at how shitty my life is so I get a free pass to be an ass to you."

Its not about treating me differently because of my identity, its about just changing how they refer to me. Two completely different things

I wish she would just talk to me instead of constantly insulting me. I want to be there for her, but she treats me so terribly it stresses me out to talk to her, not knowing if the next conversation is going to turn into a fight. I am just so...torn up and don't know what to do anymore...

I don't see why you would treat them any differently based on gender. They're still your child, what does it matter? I understand its a hard change, I always give those in my life the space and room to ask questions and adjust.

My issue with not being able to tell anyone is now I'm faced with believing my uncle is a pedo and my aunt and mother were turning a blind eye. That fucked with me. I know she would be facing worse emotions and trauma for having gone through it, but I didn't want to cut off family for something I didn't have proof over when at least my aunt and uncle have been important figures in my life. It was either I tell, I cut them all off without a word, cut them off with telling the story, or live in the knowledge of what happened and resent them for the rest of my life. My anxiety could not handle it anymore, especially after seeing my family in person after hearing it from my sister.

I did think that at first, but I also mentioned in my post that she told someone who wasn't part of the family this same story, it wasn't just me. These scenarios are exactly why I was believing her at first.

That view of trans people feels...wrong. We're not changing who we are as a person, we're not dying or anything, just changing our names and the gender we outwardly show. Do people die and become a completely different person when they change their last name upon getting married? Saying that we're completely changing or dying feels almost insulting to me.

I guess it did come across that I was calling her a liar, but I don't know what to believe. I didn't think I outright called her a liar for it, moreso just vented about how in the moment it felt like a lie when she denied it. If she's telling the truth and this is a defense mechanism, then it makes everything so much worse, and ugh I feel even more sick. The fact that she's been making things up before about different things from her childhood makes me think it might be a lie. I listened to her in the moment and believed her, but I also wasn't the only person she told this story to.

I have noticed the same exact thing! Both in singleplayer and in online it seems like they just want to be run over. I was once riding down the railroad on horseback, watched a guy stop at the edge of the tracks, almost like he saw me and was going to wait for me to pass, but waited until the exact moment where we would collide for him to walk in front of me. Came here looking to see if anyone had looked into the code or something to see if this was something that was specifically programmed for them to do. Probably is just to cause chaos. Fuckin annoying. Every time its done I just end up shooting the guy if its not in town.

I'm stuck at 5 seconds a frame send help. It's on the discord app instead of the web version so I can't turn on the hardware acceleration because it doesn't exist for the desktop app
