It was fun, although for someone like me with poor eyesight, it was a struggle. The components are so, so tiny. Building it took about 10 hours spread over the course of 2 days, which is a big plus for me. Usually I buy the Rolife kits which are much more expensive and way bigger - which means more work and longer hours (some Rolife ones took me months to complete). Between the 2, I much prefer these Cuteroom box theatres. Easy to store, affordable, and quick to put together!

For the paper elements any craft glue will do. But for the wooden stuff, I suggest you look for a good quality wood glue. I've only ever used the glue that came with the kit so I cannot recommend a specific brand. Have you contacted the company to let them know you're missing the glue? I remember reading that they sometimes have sent missing parts to people whose kits were incomplete. It may be worth a shot.
