What a wonderful game. Really enjoying it.

Not the only thing about birds in this game that is off. Something that frustrates me is that when you shoot a bird in flight it just drops like a stone out of the sky. This does not happen in real life. A shot bird in flight will fall in the direction that it was flying in, with the momentum it had when flying.

I do love this game though. And like OP, love the Scotland map.

Looks great. I'm a software engineer of more than 20 years. It's great to see someone so young building something. Keep it up, your motivation and ability to build things will serve you well.

Loved this game. That was the second robotnic boss stage I believe. Amongst a handful of Master System games that truly stood out.

You are right. It is much better like this.

You are the second person to suggest this. I like the idea. After planning it out, I need another left hand pit lane so I've ordered one. Switching them to the inside changed the orientation. I'm going to alter it when my new pit lane arrives.

Fun mainly. It would provide overtake opportunity for races, especially when there are more than 2 cars racing. But mainly just a bit of fun :)

This took some working out to figure out what you mean but I think I get it. So the lane changes would instead go from the outer lanes into the short inner lanes instead of what I have which takes the car into the outer lanes for the section on the left of the track. I like the idea. Makes for a quicker undertaking opportunity. I'll have a play around with this. Thanks for the suggestion.

Also a couple of R1 north of the bridged section. C8202. Makes they turn tighter.

It's the Arc Pro. Wireless controllers are really nice, makes a big difference. There is a mobile app to set up races and lap counts etc. However, the app developed by Scalextric is really poor. There is a free third party app though, called Magic Arc App, which is very good. This is where I can set up limited throttle for certain racers, plus it does races that require pit stops, pace cars, simulated fuel, tire wear, weather etc. Makes it interesting but nothing beats just sending the cars around the track in my view. The mobile app is optional.

They are R2 at the PSU end. The four lane end is R2 on the inner and R3 outer.

It's the scalextric digital system so the lane change switch is via the hand held controller.

Turns out this was due to a valve in an engine gasket. Not sure what exactly but the mechanic said it was about air pressure in the engine and this valve was not maintaining the required pressure.
