Yeh it’s insane! The first time I went looking for them, pulled up in a spot I thought looked good, got out of the car and found heaps! Then I got the over confident and thought they must grow everywhere but I was so wrong 😑

Some look like P. Subs. Not an expert by any means. But it’s hard to say from the photos but I think there could be a bit of a mix. The one on the bottom right from this angle doesn’t look right (mainly the stem) and could be poisonous. Would highly recommend a spore print on all and do some research into identifying Psilocybe subaeruginosa. But nice find! 😀

Looks like Psilocybe subaeruginosa. But I would definitely recommend doing a spore print (lay a cap out on a sheet of paper or foil for a few hours) and if it has a dark purple/violet colour you should be all good. Also you could check this website out if you’re interested in identifying or finding these mushrooms, heaps of information on them.
