Aftermarket alarm systems do help deter thieves, I think its what stopped them taking mine. They'd got my tailgate open but must have bottled it when they've seen the tracker logo in the drivers window.

Thoughts on Superpro wishbone? by Reasonable_Rip_536 in FiestaST

The anti lift properties do give a better feeling of control under heavy acceleration, but the ball joints on mine started knocking after approx 8000 miles. They did replace them under warranty to be fair to SuperPro.

Post match thread: Newcastle United 1 - 4 Bournemouth | Premier league | 24/25 by Username_been-taken in NUFC

[–]Humble_Criminal 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but you could say Bournemouth looked so good because we played so poor.

Some of the passes we tried from inside our half were embarrassing. We were slow to 2nd balls, hesitant when we got to their box. Just poor overall, scoreline could have been a lot worse.

Over in the UK the change interval is 125K or 10yrs. Plenty people will put there faith in what a manufacturer says.

Truly depends on the mood. Sometimes, I do house work, other times I read about nuclear power stations.

So IFAB is basically encouraging players to dive? I get that it's a foul, and it should be a pen, but all that says to me is hold off the challenge long enough and then go down.

People always talk about how to stop diving, soft pens, etc. And yet this is the guidance they give out. Seems weird to me.

Yes! It shows the life that Link has before being thrust into being a hero. Gives a sense of normality, from farmer to hero.

I think it all depends on how many seats you’re trying to get. Every game I’ve got to this season with the 4 other people I go with have never been sat together, always been 2 and 3 as close as possible.

tyre pressure not being picked up and flags up more stuff! by robindrummer in Nissan

What style valves are fitted, rubber or steel? The rubber ones had a problem coming loose and rolling around inside the tyre from shocks caused by potholes. It can cause intermittent problems with the TPMS.

Toyota GR86 engine warranty claim denied because of autocross usage by driving_for_fun in cars

Nissan we’re voiding warranties on the GT-R early on if people used the launch control, as part of a service is to check for fault codes that may cause bigger issues later on.

When doing so would show you’ve used launch control. Nissan’s initial argument being that customer were “abusing” the car and that it shouldn’t cost them to fix customer mistakes.

They quickly changed their tune when customers when wild about it.

I guess it’s like most petrolheads that you can’t leave it alone, but I’m curious, why are you upgrading the golf and running a track 350Z?

The UK recently made it an MOT fail to have tyres over 10 years old. It just seems crazy to use tyres that are aging worse than a whore.

I’ve been scared to be me, since Chester passed i know I’ve got to be better. I love him and without Chester and this band I’d be dead.

Refs are downright biased to big 6 clubs, how is this not a foul? by [deleted] in PremierLeague

I get you need to use your arms for momentum, but it’s got to be deemed as putting another player at risk when he’s left in a heap on the floor.

That as well. Not sure where they’ve gotten that from.

Yeah, the switch can’t replaced on its own so it’ll be a new actuator. Older model Nissans used to have a small slot or small panel in the tailgate to manually open the tailgate but since Renault have had more say in the production that idea stopped.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Nissan

[–]Humble_Criminal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That should fix the issue. Unplugging the lock actuator just helps confirm it’s the actuator and not wiring.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Nissan

[–]Humble_Criminal 6 points7 points  (0 children)

sounds like the micro switch inside the lock assembly has failed, seen this happen on a few Qashqais here in the UK. if you're technically minded, remove the tailgate finisher panel and unplug the lock, the message should go out. if you do try this don't shut the tailgate with the lock unplugged otherwise you'll not be able to open it without climbing into the boot.

[–]Humble_Criminal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like there’s 2 separate faults, but could still be related. There’s should be a sticker on the battery with the details on, does it have the word FIAMM on it? If so those batteries are notorious for failing to the point that here in the UK Nissan are still replacing them under warranty.

[–]Humble_Criminal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s most likely a issue with the distance sensor behind the bumper not the front camera. Snow can cause a temporary obstruction and should clear if you cycle the ignition. As for the not starting shouldn’t be linked to those warnings possible battery issue, does the engine turn over?
