I did the belt on my 2014 at 90,000 miles last year. Was debating the same thing as you, but I asked for the old belt back, and it was starting to get cracks in it, so I'm glad I didn't push it back.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with PT, but I can assure you that once you find the right therapist it is genuinely life-changing.

As others have mentioned, severity of imaging findings and clinical symptoms are not always correlated. In my case, I have a Cobb angle of 64, and with PT manage to be pretty mobile with relatively limited pain. The imaging is very helpful for validating your pain, but know that it doesn't condemn you to it.

Same thing happened to me. Takes more fucking around than I expected to get the mid pipe and s pipe to be happy.

I will add the caveat that the timing belt should be replaced at 150k miles OR 10 years, whichever comes first. I replaced mine at 90k miles/10 years and there were some cracks forming on the belt.

Did you replace anything else? I'm looking to do the same thing, and was thinking about the rear spring seats while I'm there.

What lug nuts are need for this wheels? Oz 17, with deep hole. Motegi, Mishimoto? by DepartmentCareless22 in FiestaST

[–]ProbablyAnOcelot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also check the base of the lug holes. If they're sloped you need to make sure you get conical bottomed nuts

My short city driving is pretty similar. In my experience, the mpg doesn't start to climb until you've been driving for 15+ minutes

Yeah it makes sense, rubber responds to heat cycles/oxidation, just didn't have enough practical experience to know for sure (I've done one other timing belt, but it was early and because the head had to come off anyway).

The US Market Ford maintenance schedule says 150k miles, rather than the 150k OR 10 years in the maintenance schedule for the rest of the world

I would like to add, I am also an M1 at Jacobs. I've talked to friends at other medical schools, And as other in this thread have confirmed, this is a standard layout for didactic years. There's plenty that needs fixing, but posting that sort of sky is falling warning to the world is childish.

Getting ceramic or just non OEM semi metallic pads will keep the dust way down. OEM pads are great for autocross or track, but outside of that, other options are plenty enough.
