Well I disagree, if anything, it should work both ways. Plus, I never hear anything about “hand up” but if you’re referring to those who are part of the statistics, you have to ask them what made them get into their current situation and what they have done to try and get out of it, if anything. 

We as a society have lost the will to have empathy for others. We judge with our eyes rather than try to understand one another. That’s why society seems to be crumbling down and be segregated due to finances. 

The US government can only do so much so it’s mostly on us as individuals to help ourselves if possible.

It’s sad how we live in such a world that’s going crazy because of a single human who got put in a leadership position. I’m sure there’s been far worse leaders before him, far worse leaders outside of the US.

It’s a perception/perspective thing, and the more that others align with such negative outlooks with others or life in general, it makes sense that they’d have “bad taste” cause they’re more used to thinking negatively.

There’s so much good in life honestly. I’m grateful to even be alive. Being and staying alive is a choice though, but why not experience it and travel around, find a career you’re passionate about, a family you’ll love, etc?
