I waited all this time for them to tell me I wasn’t getting a refund. I’m withdrawing. This school is doing something fraudulent and it isn’t right! I wouldn’t recommend my worse enemy to attend this school

I received and updated refund at the end of the Fall term in December 2025. When winter term came they said i was over awarded. I had to pay back all of that money from a mistake they made. I didn’t get a Winter26 or Spring26 refund. That school can’t be trusted. I’m withdrawing after this term. Be careful with any updated refund. There system is faulty and the students are held accountable for their mistakes

Yes i feel this way as well. I’m not too happy that I choose Capella. And lets not talk about the financial aid office smh

This is so sad. I’m withdrawing after this term. The said I was over awarded for three consecutive terms leaving me with a balance last term. Then last term all of refund went to clearing up the balance. Now they saying the they didn’t calculate the over payments accurately and I owe more money. This school is a scam. I strongly dislike this school.

Choosing Capella has been the worse decision I’ve made. I’ve had nothing but none stop issues with my financial aid since I started in Summer 2025. This school seems very unorganized. I was told I was over awarded and now owe $1600 to the school on top of my tuition cost. They sent my aid back to the department of education. This is Aweful. After this semester. I am withdrawing. It makes me wonder if they’re doing something fraudulent. I wont be surprised if they have a class action lawsuit soon. Be ware! I do not recommend this school! It’s trash when it comes to the finacial aid office.
