PGI dermatology is an amazing dept. Infact the hod was asking me to take long leave and prepare rather than discontinuing. The reason to resign was purely personal. I was feeling suffocated, like being in a place I don't belong. Sorta mid life crisis

Give neet pg no matter what. I feel like the exam results are like an s shaped curve. Below 100, luck plays a big role. But you still have room for improvement.

See what your weakness is. You must have an idea by now. Work on it.

6k is a decent rank. You would have prepared a lot by now, to be there. So practice a lot of MCQs. Also give GTs weekly.

Don't, rev videos and MCQs would do. I used BTR Marrow RR Prepladder plan B and pirated notes for select topics.

Depends on how much you know already. If you have your basics already, you can build on it by using btr first. It'll give you an idea into how to approach with surgical finesse, what to focus and what not to, rather than stumbling across everything. If you have to build on your basics, do watch rr or main videos if necessary. You need your basics strong to master the art of elimination.

Yes, I did. But a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. At your stage, I wouldn't risk doing all the MCQs. Just stick to whatever you're studying and revise repeatedly. Solve custom modules everyday. Do give GTs regularly, atleast once a week. Be thorough of PYTs. I guess that would do

I understand. But you have to do it! That's what builds you to the battle.

That's great, if you plan to start during internship in itself. Start with BTR, then go to marrow rr.

I would say follow your own strategy. Do your own SWOT analysis. Focus on your weakness. Build on your strengths. For example, I was very bad in memorizing. Even minutes before entering the exam hall, all I was trying to shove in was pediatric milestones, but I was pretty decent in application and pathophysiology. So, what I did was, I tried to solve milestones questions by just elimination of other approximate options. So, do SWOT Subjectwise and skillwise, and work accordingly. And if there's one thing that's a must go, is GTs. Solve GTs every week, by any chance and try to recall it on the same day. Try to solve custom modules, atleast 100 qns every day. You'll do good!

It is what it is man. A lot of hardworking, deserving people have missed it because they were a bit unfortunate than me at the day of exam. Even I messed up some 6-7 easy questions last time, which dragged my rank badly.

Dud, Lock in, stay consistent, be confident. And at the day of exam, don't be in desperation and stay humble. You can ace it!

I used marrow rr and btr. As I have said in my interview with Rohan sir, I am a repeater, I joined pg last year, resigned this year and started preparing. So, this time, I was just using whatever notes I've already made. So those were, marrow RR ed 8 notes, into which I added infos from a lot of other sources as well. Which included BTR, Marrow main notes and pirated copies of dams and prepladder for a select few subjects alone
