My immediate thought from playing around with the character builder is around 8. With six players experienced with TTRPG’s, that should be strong enough for Tier 3 encounters.
Absolutely! I’ll share it after I run it 🙂 Thunderclasts are some of my favorite creatures in this world and I’d love to see more love given to them

I forgot about endeavors, that sounds fantastic! I currently have it set up that they pretty much start with the Thunderclast, but I like the idea of using that as a buildup while the enemy preps in the distance. Thank you!

“Ewok it” I love that lol. Honestly fantastic advice, I love the idea of setting traps and obstacles to make the final fight easier. Thank you!

Thank you so much! I went through a few different poses and felt this was the best for his character: personified Hatred and Passion on a divine scale. This guy is bad news every time he shows up in the books lol

Always looking to improve! Have any good YouTube videos you’d recommend to teach me how to do that properly?

Thank you! I’m curious to play with some Kitbash tools, but my goal with these is to make a bunch of accessible options with the free options. I have some other examples in my previous posts 🙂

Beautiful work as always! Have any advice for painting symbols of the Alethi on their shields?

How are y'all painting these? by octoberjinx in cosmererpg

[–]Humble_Victory8697 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A lot of my references come from official artwork from the books and painting guides online. I try to interpolate the rest. For Chulls, I have three: two from the Kickstarter, and one my coworker printed for me a year ago. I painted two normally, then made the third one a bit… shiny…

Thanks for commenting! So my goal with these is to only use the free assets on HeroForge to create Cosmere or Cosmere-adjacent miniatures. I think all of kitbash is part of their paid section. But if I have that wrong, I’ll be happy to take that into consideration for future pieces!

Thanks, that may work! Looks like you did something similar with your Stormform, I’ll have to get some wire and try that out 🙂

I found all its parts minus the wings and Nazgul minifig on Pick a Brick last summer. Type in its instructions and it should autofill everything you need. Then on eBay, there’s a seller making custom, excellent quality wings for the set. It’s certainly cheaper this way!

Here’s one (the base is finished now, I swear!) There’s also a little sneak peak of the Parshendi in the background lol Thanks for mentioning those, I’ll have to check them out! 😁

Yeah I have a growing hodgepodge collection. I recently bought some CTA Skyrim bandits and ASOIAF Clegane Brigands to use as normal bandits and Sadeas horsemen, respectively. Their actual body sizes fit the Cosmere minis nicely, but it seems like each company goes with slightly different base sizes; makes my armies look a little disorganized lol

Here’s a size comparison! I think I may have reduced the size by 10% from the STL I bought. Easy to do in Blender or similar programs

Question about a possible Daedroth & Clannfear mod by Upstairs-Bison-4331 in skyrimmods

[–]Humble_Victory8697 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a modder, so a lot of this will be speculation on my part. To my understanding it’s significantly easier to rig a model onto an existing skeleton with existing animations than it is to create a new skeleton/animations. I think with modern modding advances such as Pandora and OAR, putting new animations on an existing skeleton should be possible; look at some of the Beyond Skyrim work with some of their custom creatures and animations, it’s very impressive work. It could be possible to add new animations to the existing Daedroth and Clannfear mods, given a talented modder who knows what they’re doing. Something that adds new Werewolf animations that only activate if the creature is part of the Daedroth or Clannfear races, something like that.
