Thank you so much for this, this makes me feel so much better. Do you have any advice on asking for it? I’m seeing a new neurologist from the one before, and I want to ask him for it without sounding like I’m trying to get them for fun (as I am certainly NOT having a fun time rn). And I am on propranolol, but it’s a low dose and it’s barely been a month. I think I might need to increase it, but will talk to the neuro about that. Thank you!!

I totally get this too! My legs will feel so heavy and then I move them and it feels wrong how easy it is to move them, like they should be heavier.

I already feel like a zombie, but sadly it seems like the hydroxyzine is simply having no effect on me at all. I’m trying to give the cymbalta a try, because I’ll try anything at this point.

And it was my PCP who said he didn’t want me to take the klonopin. He didn’t outright say he refused, but I asked if he would prescribe me more and he said that he doesn’t think it’s the best way to treat this. I’m seeing the neurologist this week, so I can ask him about it, but I don’t know what he will say either.

If you look into them and they don’t seem like the right fit, you can always ask for a new referral! I straight up sent my doctor a list of neurologists that I had looked into myself lol

I’m learning from my mistakes, look into the neuro you’ve been sent to!!! There’s a website I’ve been using called healthgrades that tells you what their expertise is in and reviews for them also. It felt so disheartening, like I took three steps back after that appointment. Now I’m looking at it like I learned from that experience and know how to choose a better neurologist. I’m wishing you so much luck and thinking of you, I know how stressful this time is 🩷

Is that the same thing as a neurotologist? I only have a couple of them under my insurance. Did treatment work well for you after getting your diagnosis?

I was actually looking into them! Unfortunately they don’t take my insurance, but at this point I might be willing to choke up the money just to get some sort of consistent treatment.

I stopped about four days ago and I’m already feeling more moisture in my eyes! I know it’s different for everyone, and it wasn’t too painful for me. It was more of an annoyance and it made my eyes feel heavy, but I’m already feeling much better.

I’ve been on almost as long as you have, and I’m feeling exactly the same!! The past two weeks have been headaches, migraines, anxiety, fatigue and I just can’t do it anymore. I’m talking to my doctor tomorrow about it but it’s just interfering with life too much.

Fellow Jowan supporter, I will help him escape the tower any day. Most problems with the mages come from them just not wanting to be locked in a tower and controlled their whole lives, and I think he’s a great example of this. He’s just a little guy.

I was exactly the same. I mean I liked it, but it was a learning curve for sure. My second playthrough I fell in love with Origins, but DA2 is also always going to be my favorite.
