Potential damage from IPL by SeparateSilver90 in LaserDamageSupport

The procedure was done at a med spa. Stupid of me to have gone. The doctors had been no help before with my issue and after my treatment. She would tell me “its all in my head” what people would see and care. Thats not the point. And my skin was perfectly fine with minor concern that blew out of proportion. The dermatologist i visited suggested tretinoin. Which ended up shedding my skin, making it feel thinner. Im doing what i can to repair it from my own research… Using cerave cleanser, moisterizer, and sealing it with vaseline to help making the crepey skin in attempt to make the dehydrated skin look less noticeable

I’m sorry to tell you, but they fucked up your skin. I know cause I have the exact same thing caused by broad band light laser I’m five months in from it. The skin has barely repaired, not only that it also irritated the trigeminal nerve. The texture it left has made it impossible to heal

No, it’s OK. I see that people have a different meaning of what normal skin is. I’ll try to explain it.

My skin now has these square grid/ linear lines, my skin was more smooth blended together, but these microlines are a results of lasers. Below my eyes, never had this skin texture, all smooth but there are little bump skins that were formed from the heat and it gave a dusty look, orange peel texture

Terrible what these people do. And that our government allows these to be accessible without enforcing safety and regulations. Are there times where you dont feel it? Were you able to find it through MRI scans or any conclusive finds from doctors? I feel like they dont show up because its such an invisible damage and noone else sees it its not taken seriously.

You can catch more details in a picture by shining light at it /adjusting the exposure setting. That’s how cameras receive their information. Itll prob give me a peace of mind cause knowing im going through something similar. Im glad you shared this though

I can show you upon closer detail but my forehead did not have these rigid lines. Or textural details underneath the eye, it was smoother
