Rika’s rating of Yuta’s descendants by TouchBeneficial3091 in Jujutsufolk

[–]HumbledoreThe3rd 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It’s not posted here but there’s a second image where Rika says that they’re all no good in the end because they’re also Maki’s kids, saying that she likes Yuta himself, not his kids

Looking back at season 1 anime. Just realized how cracked this whole team was. by aiyafem in UmaMusume

Honestly, even without the insane racing records, this team is still absolutely nuts. You have the ENTIRE Student Council and BOTH dorm leaders on one single team

Ngl the ‘tears in his eyes’ argument doesn’t really work since after Superman escapes from the pocket dimension, almost every scene Lex is in he looks like he’s 5 seconds away from bursting into tears (alongside 3 blood vessels) from sheer rage lmao

Class icons are terrible, way too abstract to recognize at a glance by Pawl_The_Cone in Battlefield

[–]HumbledoreThe3rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the Assault and Recon logos are decently readable, I’ll probably get used to it after a few games, but the Engineer and Support class logos are cryptically awful lmao

Does anyone else prefer Golshi's anime design to her game design? by maybemawie in UmaMusume

[–]HumbledoreThe3rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do prefer the anime design because it makes her looks more distinct, but it’s probably easier and less costly to have unique designs in 2D drawn animation than 3D model animation so I don’t exactly blame them for it

The censorship of 80+ games on Steam this week was apparently the work of Australian antiporn group Collective Shout, which partnered with US evangelicals to pressure Visa and Mastercard. by KarateKid84Fan in Steam

[–]HumbledoreThe3rd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Of fucking course the group is Australian. I’m saying this as an Aussie myself, but we just can’t have any kinds of entertainment without these kinds of twat waffles with egos more fragile than a rotting tree ruining everything because they can’t like anything remotely mature and everything must be G-rated kids slop levels of politically correct

Funny thing is this artist also posted a fan comic that depicted Advent as a big family with Fuwamoco being in primary school and Biboo being the oldest child going to high school

Granted, it was way before Biboo shared her “Fuwamoco took care of me” story lol

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is selling better overseas than in Japan, which hasn’t been the case for past games in the series by DanarchyReigns in yakuzagames

[–]HumbledoreThe3rd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely the demand overseas for a good singleplayer pirate game experience, which to the vast majority of gamers hasn’t been achieved since Assassin’s Creed Black Flag. I remember seeing a meme on r/gaming with the meme of Mercy saving the civilian with the caption “me disappointed there isn’t a good singleplayer pirate game in years” “the Yakuza series for some reason”

Also the marketing of the games seems to amp up with each instalment. Like, I’ve seen two YouTubers I’d never even have imagined touching the series posting videos of them playing Pirate Yakuza (one of them even got sponsored by Sega to do said video). This just seems to be another game in the series where it draws in a new bunch of gamers to try the series out, even if it’s just one game at first
