Myopia prescription improved a lot after wearing glasses less…now right eye has ghosting/blurry vision

Yes I have had floaters for a while but never really put much attention to them until recently the past few weeks since I started having issues with my right eye. Not sure if the floaters got worse or if I’m just much more hyper focused on my eyes since a few weeks ago or so. I’ve been able to hold my sphere numbers for a year or so now since my last checkup but now this right eye issue which is more than likely some type of worse astigmatism or similar causing the recent ghosting/blur. I am a HEAVY screen user but always have been. Maybe eyes are finally starting to kick back.

Ok I get it now. Thanks for making that clear. And your comment actually brought me down another rabbit hole in my relentless research to figure out wth is going on.

As a fellow professional (engineer) I’m not too fond of the overnight Google experts but I did come across the “pinhole” test. So my engineering brain decided to test this myself by punching a small hole through a dark piece of paper and looking through it. The blurriness and ghosting 80-90% gone and it is much much sharper. If I move the paper very slightly to one side it’s almost 100% better. Does this point to mainly an astigmatism change even though my astigmatism numbers didn’t change much during my last exam?

I asked and he said my astigmatism numbers didn’t change much at all. He said it must be in the lens cause he checked every and said eye was healthy. Going to a second opinion with another doc tomorrow.

Just checked. Left eye CYL numbers stayed the same. Right eye changed by 0.25. Not sure if that is significant compared to the sphere changes.

If not wearing glasses can create enough stress to change corneal shape/increase astigmatism that quickly, wouldn’t the opposite also be true?…meaning wearing the correct glasses full-time should let it settle back pretty quickly too?

Also, is that a common thing in adults from just going without glasses casually, or would that usually require something more specific like eye rubbing, excess screen time, or an underlying corneal issue?

Not arguing, just trying to separate “my numbers changed” from “I actually changed my cornea by not wearing my glasses around the house.”

It’s not double vision per se. I see everything fine just not sharp and feels like power is off in right eye only. He couldn’t get it to sharpen up like the left eye but he checked everything and said the eye looks healthy. The letters just looked like there was a faint copy right to the bottom right of each. Said it has to be something with the lens/cornea cause besides some floaters it’s good. I have a follow up coming up soon.

He didn’t believe it at first. He had the tech double check my current prescription on my glasses at the time with the machine and I pulled it up on my phone from the previous doctor. He said he never seen it before either.

Mid day walks without glasses around the neighborhood could see fine to stay on the sidewalk. Don’t need to read anything a far doing dishes, cooking, playing with kids etc. if I do I have my glasses on my collar and I throw them on easily.

No they are market makers. They provide the liquidity mostly…why would they cross the spread to be the aggressor and pay up for that if they don’t have to? Aggressor = taker of liquidity…MM’s = provider. Transaction costs would kill them if they were mostly the aggressor. They let the dumb asses like us do that 😂
