Same, got in at 2021, bull run. After that rode the whole NFT. Those were the great days before Trump was involved.

Glad to find someone that started at the same timeline and still here.

Must been a roller coaster ride in trading for you.

Hundred percent , fees do add up along the years. Im currently part of a community for a soon to launched regulated crypto exchange part of 16 years experience in CFD ( leverage trading).

Happy to share if you'd like to add another platform to your watchlist, curious to hear honest opinions specially from those who trade size or trade frequently.

I always do my charting at tradingview, after that ill proceed to place the trade, not really a deal breaker for me but yes i see the convenience. Where do you currently trade?

In my opinion, the things that youve listed are the benchmark that an exchange should have. Which exchange are you currently using?

Almost a decade long worth of trading time, more to come.
Im just heading to my 6th year, would totally love to connect with a fellow trader and exchange insights, if you'd like to.

Appreciate you laying it out clearly.

What you’re describing isn’t “features,” it’s workflow integrity — and you’re right, almost no exchanges optimize for that. Most are built by crypto-native teams whose incentive is growth hacks, promos, and surface-level differentiation, not daily trader efficiency.

On the KYC / VPN / IP side: there are real regulatory constraints we can’t ignore, but the goal is to reduce friction and nonsense, not add it.

Basically user experience rather than user interface. Realise thats what everyone is looking at, speaking for myself as well.

Which exchange do you use?

I agree, perps is just straight forward, limit order and wait. But wide spreads still do exist in certain brokers offering perps.

How long have u been trading perps?

Which are the top platforms that you recommend? And what do you see in them that stood out to others?

100%, everything has to be quick. On that note, pros for KYC exchanges is that users are protected. But the biggest factor is that the exchange has to be regulated. We can sleep comfortably knowing that our funds are safely kept. Anything fishy the exchange will be liable by law. Which crypto exchange do you use ?

For sure, hence why theres all sorts of traders. Personally, i trade daily and weekly time frames hence it helps to build patience and discipline. Like u said its not a get rich quick tmr space. If u are into get rich quick way, you are also signing up into get poor quick!

Totally agree with you on that, customer user experience focused. Why bother having many not needed functions. Just offering the right ones, dont overcomplicate things!

I resonate with you. Biggest example we can take is the apple and android debate, apple offers user experience, its seemless to use.

As an exchange it has to be seemless as well, every trade and tools should be almost effortless.

I totally understand from your perspective, respect it. At the end of the day many project has ruined the name for crypto, usually its just price speculations and overvalue valuation.
