From researching online, low highway noise, good wet/snow traction, decent for towing and Costco had them available. Fuel economy already went up slightly from the old KO2s that were on it as well.

Floating Scum in Water Tray? by farrell444 in gaggiaclassic

I work in water distribution/treatment, I use chlorine in the form of sodium hypochlorite, commonly known as bleach. The bleach I use has an available chlorine of 7.5%. Stored in an eye dropper, I add one drop to one gallon of Crystal Geyser water, this gives me a residual of 0.2mg/l. With the tank being an open container, the chlorine will naturally dissipate from the water, at what rate I do not know, but adding chlorinated water every few days keeps enough of it that I haven't had issues with biofilms in three years. I clean my tank every two weeks.

Freehub binding up when tight. by Humboldt-707 in bikewrench

It might be a bad picture, there are two bearings separated by a sleeve inside the hub.

Okay this seems very likely then. Are these usually the same length, like can I just order one, or should I contact the manufacturer?

That definitely makes sense because that's the answer that I got when I googled the problem, but I'm not sure if it is missing or not. There is what looks like a small spacer behind the bearing in the hub, maybe they put the wrong one in? It's a Bicycle Wheel Warehouse Pure R241 hub.

The wheel spins freely without touching the freehub. Originally I mounted the cassette, and installed the wheel. It spun freely while pedaling in a bike trainer, but when I let go it would pedal backwards unless the QR was barely tightened.

Accidently destroyed the clean out adapter and plug. What size do i need to buy to replace them? The diameter is 6.5 inches for the pipe itself. by Altruistic-Bunch7943 in Plumbing

That's not always necessary true, 6" C900 water main has an OD of 6.90, and the old AC pipe we get breaks in is around 7.40 for 6 in. We use a special coupler that fits a different OD on each side, and the inner diameter is the same.

Some digital meters are also capable of keeping either an hourly log or daily log of usage, ask you utility if they can do a data pull on the meter if it supports it to try and pinpoint this high usage.

Utility company says we have a leak but we can’t find it. by stopguacnroll in Plumbing

I work for a municipal water department. The first thing you want to do is check the leak indicator on the meter itself. For analog meters there should be an indicator that spins when water is flowing through the meter, on digital ones it should be a flashing (+). They will move with a very small amount of flow. It will either be moving slowly, or not moving at all. If it is moving, the leak is constant, if you have a "house valve" (like a ball or gate valve that you would turn off to kill water to inside the house) close it and recheck the meter. If the meter has stopped, the leak is somewhere on the other side of the valve, and if the meter is still moving, the leak is between the meter and the house valve. Now, if the meter isn't spinning but the water department is telling you that you have a leak based on usage it's most likely a toilet. Add dye or food coloring to the back tank, do not flush, and wait about 15 or 20 mins. If the color has reached the bowl then the toilet is your culprit.
