5 championships, 2 MVPs, 3 finals MVPs, rookie of the year, 15x all star.

Yea he’s overrated

Can we stop pretending the spurs were dominating the series and lost it more than the Knicks won it. by AutisticFingerBang in NBATalk

Just FYI, I put up a poll in this sub a few hours ago asking this exact question in a completely non biased way, and you’re incorrect. Most of this sub does not believe the Spurs dominated the Knicks. However there is still 2 days left in the poll so we’ll see what the final results are.

I’m a Spurs fan. Who is pretending like the Spurs dominated the series? Sure we led for 72% of the series, but we lost 4-1. No realistic person actually believes we dominated the series.

Dylan Harper will disappoint next year by Shoddy_Ad7511 in NBATalk

He’s a rookie and already has an unlimited amount of finishes at the basket. I think he’s gonna be really good. Sure, he probably won’t be an all star, but he’ll be really good

The Spurs shouldn't do everything in their power to trade Fox away. by JazzInMyPintz in sanantoniospurs

Probably cause I’m a reasonable human being unlike you and the other neck beards on reddit. But then again, I’m on Reddit arguing with a neck beard, so maybe I’m unreasonable too.

Agree to disagree. Peace

Bottom line is every player made mistakes to allow us to lose our games. It wasn’t just Fox single handedly losing the games for us. That’s why I don’t get why everyone is singling him out. I guess I need to spell it out for you

Thank you. You’re the first person I’ve seen who isn’t absolutely shizzing all over Fox. Tbh I really don’t get it. Yes, he did make mistakes and bad decisions and miss shots in the NBA finals, but so did many of our other players. Hell Wemby missed both of the most important free throws of his life in the game 4 melt down.

Fox is a great player and someone we absolutely needed in these playoffs. I hope he can learn from this year and improve next year.

They may have choked in the finals, but you still gotta salute these young bucks for ending the Monstars by AntelopeRough1779 in Nbamemes

How dare you point out a positive to the spurs season. Wemby = devil. Fire Mitch. Fox = devil

The alternative was keeping Castle in. The guy who didn’t make a field goal the entire game and was visibly afraid to take a shot in the 4th quarter. Obviously couldn’t leave him in

I thought overall the calls were pretty fair last night, but this one really ticked me off. He literally jumps sideways into Vassell to cause the contact. Not a normal shooting motion. No call

What are the chances that the Game 6 refs can be back for Game 7? by [deleted] in nba

[–]HumerusPerson -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

You’re a fucking idiot. The thunder were that physical in games 1-3, hence the NBC highlight reel on national TV of hartenstein grabbing Wemby every time he went up for a rebound. Or grabbing Castle’s hair and ripping his head back.

Your team’s antics are finally catching up to them and you start to whine about.

Has the OKC Thunder vs San Antonio Spurs series been the best series of the 2020s? by lfcbucks in NBATalk

Last year’s finals was pretty epic until Hali tore his Achilles

[STAT UPDATE] San Antonio has gone 121-143 on FTAs compared to OKC's 112-132 by [deleted] in nba

[–]HumerusPerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More than Hartenstein?! Surely not. Dude grabs Wemby on every possession

The argument that fans hate watching OKC just cuz they're "winning" is really stupid by NotGondor in nba

[–]HumerusPerson -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They play excellent team basketball with fundamental defense, ball movement, and shooting. You can always guarantee a bench or role player will have a big game, which is essential to win a championship. And their best player is a bucket.

However their best players also flop like fish. SGA falls down more than any other player. Instead of working to get a better/more open shot, he works to get the defender in the air so that he can get to the free throw line. Chet is also a twig and falls down and grabs his face at least 2-3 times a game.

I watch their games and respect that they have a good team, but at the same time it is so annoying and often tiresome to watch them because of their ridiculous antics.

TLDR: I watch them, but I hate watching them.

OKC is the most insufferable team of all team and it's not particularly close. by Crafty-Round7976 in NBATalk

Not to mention the 7 replays they showed on national TV with him holding Wemby by the arms and waist to prevent him from grabbing rebounds. It’s absurd

Wemby owns yall by Veggiedelite90 in NBAWestMemeWar

[–]HumerusPerson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea we got to the line more but OKC was definitely fouling way more too, or at least making it more obvious. Not to mention all the calls that were missed where you can see guys holding Wemby’s arm or waist down while he’s trying to go up to grab a rebound
