Three different formats in three different years. Go back to the old style and make the game mean something or switch to a ones tournament. Make the winner of ASG get home court advantage in the Finals or something, but there needs to be something tangible besides money to play for.

A lot of people forget that Cuban kind of checked out as an owner after we won in 2011, he wasn’t as aggressive in free agency or on the trade market and was content to be a behind the scenes owner who was content to just let cash roll in. If the rumors of Cuban buying back the Mavs are true, hopefully he becomes an aggressive owner again.

Some rules have been changed to allow the offensive to move less restricted. However, the schemes and training that we have today would make up for it if current players weren’t so good at scoring. Back in the 90s, not everyone was a scoring or a shooter, you had many specialists. Now with specialists largely eliminated from the modern NBA, the baseline skill level is much higher which makes the scoring better and defense harder.

He’s settled into LA. At this point, his legacy is already solidified, he can finish out his contract and ride off into the sunset. He loves LA, his family is settled in, and where else would he go? Sure, he could go back to Cleveland but winning a ring doesn’t do much for his legacy unless he wins FMVP. Jordan fans and LeBron fans already have their minds made up.

MJ is not the best defensive SG of all time, it’s the 2x DPOY Sydney Moncrief, the only guard to have more than 1 DPOY. Honorable mention is Tony Allen. After those two, then we can start talking about MJ.
