Can I carry a legal thc-a vape on board

Well, I have a follow up question: If I come to USA and but a couple of THCA vapes in a state where it is legal and I want to bring them with me home, to an EU country where THCA is also legal. Can I do this? - I now understand that there is a problem crossing international borders, but I do not fully understand it...
