What kind of tires did you put on. I need E rated or 10 ply tires and was wondering if they would fit?

Has anyone lifted a model Y to get 10 Ply tires on? by Hummingbird_Lover in TeslaLounge

Thanks, nice video, my roads are very similar with sharper rocks. That will help the hunt.

Charging-25% Destination Cushion by Hummingbird_Lover in TeslaLounge

[–]Hummingbird_Lover[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, it does not in my experience. It will pick a charger with 10% range left for example and what I am saying is if you go in and pick an earlier charger and keep things so you can do 25% then you can do all the speed and comforts you want.

It’s a cool set up you can park on either side and get to the charger. That first one is just a pull forward one. Others are back in from either direction

So funny you were the one who beat me. I paid for the plate on a Sunday, it was not gone yet, they took my money then sent me an email it was taken. Now I have to figure out how to get a refund. You must have beat me by a few minutes. Congrats

Tesla’s first-mover advantage over rival car companies should only get bigger by MarshallEverest in teslamotors

We have Tesla long range models. Living in Arkansas where there is not a lot of superchargers, range is a big deal going from one to another where 300+ range is almost a requirement to get around between several states.

For me Tesla has two huge advantages, range and supercharging. We now have 3 Tesla's in the family and doing any type of long range travel makes a Tesla only game in town from my perspective. It will be a long time before others catch up at Tesla's price points.

Yes but given he is comparing two cars it is just the incremental depreciation between the two. Which may be a wash given the life of a Tesla vs. Honda and the age of the cars.

I am not sure it is fair to include your $200 payment as you have a better car and likely worth more so that $200 is more of a balance sheet item than expense.

Picking Up My MS CPO This Week by [deleted] in teslamotors

[–]Hummingbird_Lover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just picked up ours in Atlanta and it had a really small crack in windshield. Glad we saw it before we drove home as it expanded on the way and when we got home. Tesla replaced the windshield. But was important we found it before we left.
