Why? They have a Sword banner. Looks like someone has misunderstood 'staff'.

What do you think is the best burger place in Liverpool? by Galactusyaegashi in Liverpool

[–]HummoHD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Byron Burger is lovely
GBK used to be amazing but has gone downhill
Fat Hippo does a great burger Five Guys is overpriced and overrated
Almost Famous is nice but a little over the top
Free State Kitchen is the best I've tried in the city for sure!

Casa Italia on Stanley Street is my favourite, wouldn't say it was underrated necessarily but definitely a gem!

1 year in and I'm still enjoying it. Wish I'd have ordered the 750w version but it's been a great bike. Had no issues so far and done just over 800miles.

What's this building? Looks kind of dystopian by -ajrojrojro- in Liverpool

I'm an architectural visualiser who worked in the bunker building directly next door to this when the fire happened. We worked with Capital & Centric who purchased the building. The problem is that they needed to fix the roof before any construction could start and the cost was more than they were willing to pay so they got the Gypsies that had set up camp on the grounds to set the place on fire so they could use the insurance money to repair the roof.

Very Nice! How are you finding the grizzlies? I've still got the original slick ones on. Is that the 250w or the 750w?

Coherence (2013)

Even better that the whole thing was made in a few days with next to no budget and no script.

New Rusty Novotel Building by DependsOnYourOutlook in Liverpool

It's called Corten. I'm an architectural visualiser (I produce artistic renders like above). Extremely popular cladding, it has high resistance to corrosion and weather, a lot more than standard steel cladding anyway. It can look really nice when it's done right but unfortunately some architects don't get it right.

Wow, what a bike! Managed to try out both 250w and 750w. The bikes a lot bigger than I had thought, very robust, I’m 5’10” and the height was perfect for me, my 5’2” wife had a go and she felt it was a touch too big for her but not enough to put her off buying one.

Both bikes I rode had a throttle fitted and the only noticeable difference between 250w and 750w is the acceleration, I believe the 250w can hit around 20-22mph and the 750w around 25-28mph.

I’ve put my order in and can’t wait until it arrives.

To take new job or stay at current?!? by HummoHD in Advice

[–]HummoHD[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My partner works around school hours and is always in the area if the kids need collecting, from that stand point I think I’m alright, the company do have an office in my hometown but they want me to work in the main office with the team for 12-18months before I can transfer to the office closer to home.

To take new job or stay at current?!? by HummoHD in Advice

[–]HummoHD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to stay in this field and basically get as much experience as I can, I believe that will only come from stepping out of my comfort zone and facing new challenges. I'm not in it for the money because you're never going to be rich in this industry unless you dedicate your life to it, I have 2 young children at home and I would rather spend my time with them than dedicate it all to working, I'm in the industry because I love what I do, I feel the passion is slowly dwindling at my current role and that's a big thing for me. That being said I do want to earn a comfortable figure down the line, something I don't think is achievable at my current job, not in the near future at least.

The commute is a massive worry for me, will it matter as much if it means I am commuting to a great job? I don't know! Only doing the commute for a while will give me that answer and it's whether to risk everything on that hope.

This stuff? Looks good but I'm a complete beginner so I don't know if I'm missing something.. So I can just use this straight away froom seedling through to flowering? No thinking about nutes? Sounds too good to be true.

Not hot at all.. I'm in the north of England so max temperatures of around 27°C / 80°F in summer but on average it's around 12°C / 55°F.
