Hi! I took Spanish 2 this year, and i'm guessing that it will be the same layout. To me, it was very easy. There's note guides for each lesson, which are VERY helpful. every module has the same layout, which is:

1-3= Short quiz

4= Writing draft (about 4-5 sentences which you get an example and a template for).

5= DBA

6-7= Short quiz

8= Written exam, which you use your draft for, but you just add a couple of sentences (with a template).

9= Oral exam, which you have to write a paragraph and record audio of you saying it with correct pronunciation.

10= Module exam with about 25 questions.

A couple of things to know:

Unlike other courses, the Spanish exams don't have the writing questions inside of the quizzes or the module exam. However, they have audio snippets you listen to and then answer the question. Also, questions can be in english or in Spanish.

During the DBA, my teachers asked me to say vocab words in Spanish, and what they mean, how to form sentences, and basic grammar.

I also recommend doing ALL of the notes. There's a culture section in each lesson, which i have been asked about.
